Nassau police are looking for two males they said robbed a gas station in Hempstead at gunpoint Tuesday evening.

Police said the two suspects wearing masks entered the Shamrock Gas Station at 404 Clinton Street about 5:15 p.m. and demanded cash from the 25-year-old manager. One of the men had a gun, police said.

After opening the register, the robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the station southbound on Clinton Street, police said. There were no injuries reported.

The manager described one of the men as being 6 feet tall and wearing dark clothes, but was unable to describe the other robber.
