Nassau police seek burglar at Elmont home

Nassau police are looking for a man who burglarized an Elmont home at midnight on Monday.

According to detectives from the Fourth Squad, an unidentified female victim, age 12, went into her bedroom on Norfolk Drive East and saw an unknown male behind the door. The victim screamed and the man left the bedroom through an open window. Police said there were no reported injuries and nothing was taken.

Police are investigating the burglary and described the suspect as about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and wearing camouflage pants.
