New handheld device aims to help Suffolk poll workers
Suffolk County is using a portable handheld device this year that helps poll workers direct voters to the right polling place, Board of Elections administrator Ivan Young said Tuesday.
No major problems had been reported at Suffolk polling places Tuesday morning. "The first survey is at noon, and there's nothing out of the ordinary so far," Young said.
