New York's DWI with kids bill poised to become law

ALBANY - A bill making it a felony to drive drunk with a child in the car is now poised to become law.

The Assembly's Democratic majority formally agreed Monday night to boost penalties for impaired motorists with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher and accompanied by a minor 15 and under.
