Nunley's Carousel spins once again
They came for the memories - for the nostalgia of a nearly century-old carousel and the promise of another spin on the restored merry-go-round.
The opening Saturday of the restored Nunley's Carousel on Museum Row in Garden City took Judy Hunter, 72, of Baldwin, back to the days her sons worked at the amusement park where the carousel stood for 55 years.
