Obama expected to extend, expand home tax credit
With the economy still fragile, President Barack Obama is expected to sign legislation Friday to extend and expand a home buyers' tax credit program set to expire Nov. 30.
The proposal, in a bill to extend unemployment benefits, was passed by the House Thursday and the Senate Wednesday.
