Part of Wantagh Parkway to close Sunday for charity bike tour

Northbound lanes on the Wantagh Parkway from Ocean Parkway to Merrick Road will be closed for a charity bicycling event Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Miles for Matt Bike Tour will run from 8 a.m. to noon on an 8 1/2-mile loop that can be repeated, according to the event's Facebook page.
