Pedestrian hit, killed by van in Baldwin
A man crossing Merrick Road in Baldwin was struck and killed by an eastbound minivan late Thursday, police said.
Police have not identified the man, pending notification of next of kin.
The 46-year-old driver of the minivan was not charged.
Nassau police said the fatal accident occurred at 10:13 p.m. at the intersection of Parkview Place.
