A man who arranged to meet three other males in Woodbury to buy marijuana was beat up when the deal went sour, Nassau County police said Thursday.

The three males -- Benjamin S. Molina, 18, of 34 Roseanne Dr., Woodbury; Alexander D. Kolosakas, 17, of 27 Pickwick Dr. W., Syosset; and Amir Mohamed, 18, of 7 Branwood Dr., Dix Hills -- are charged with second-degree assault in the April 13 beating of the man, 22, police said.

Second Squad detectives said the victim arranged to meet the three at about 3:50 p.m. on Verna Way to make the purchase.

According to a news release, "an argument ensued which escalated into a physical confrontation. The defendants began punching and kicking the victim in the head and body. The victim was also struck in the face with a rock."

All three males fled the scene, police said, and the victim was treated at a hospital for injuries.

Mohamed turned himself in Thursday; he is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
