Four people were injured after a two-car crash in Hicksville on Saturday afternoon, Nassau County police said.

A 19-year-old man was driving a 2010 Honda Accord south on South Broadway about 4:45 p.m. when he collided with a 1999 Honda Civic headed east from Lee Avenue toward Murray Road, police said Sunday.

A 16-year-old rear passenger in the Civic was thrown from the vehicle and suffered head, neck and back trauma, police said. The 52-year-old driver and his other passenger, 18, were treated for neck and back pain, as was the driver of the Accord, police said.

Police impounded both vehicles for safety and brake checks, but said they suspected no criminality.
