A 35-year-old Hempstead man was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with the murder of a 28-year-old man earlier this month in Hempstead.

Nassau County police said Luis Moreno, of 36 Ormond St., was found by Hempstead police officers on Clinton Street in Hempstead at 2:50 p.m. and was arrested without incident. He was charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of Darwin A.
