A dump truck overturned Monday, spilling dirt and clogging eastbound traffic on the Long Island Expressway in Jericho for nearly three hours, Nassau County police said.

Earlier, only the high-occupancy-vehicle lane was open at Exit 41, Routes 106-107, police said.

A spokeswoman said there were no injuries but cleanup crews were at the scene.

The truck overturned at about 9:07 a.m., police said, and normal traffic resumed at about noon.
