Nassau police are looking for two teens who mugged a man in Roosevelt on Tuesday evening.

Police said a 23-year-old man was walking west on Henry Street when he was approached by two teenage boys, 15 to 17 years old, on gray BMX bicycles. One of them demanded money and struck the victim in the head, knocking him to the ground.

Both teens kicked and punched him while he was on the ground, police said, but the victim was able to get up and run to Brookside Avenue.

The teens caught up to him and demanded cash. The 23-year-old handed over an unknown amount and the teens fled south on Brookside, police said.
