In the second case, police said a 32-year-old man sleeping in his Henry Street home in Roosevelt suddenly awoke to see a man in his bedroom.

The victim chased the man, but the man got out of the home through a side door and ran away, police said. The victim was not injured.

The man had gotten away with three cellphones and cash, according to police. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, white shorts and was described as being in his late teens or early twenties.
