Police are searching for three men -- one in a purple and pink dress; two with fake beards -- who robbed a Radio Shack on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead on Sunday, brandishing a handgun and tying up two employees.

No one was injured.

Nassau County police said the robbery took place at 6:55 p.m., when the trio entered the store, flashed the gun and took two male employees to a rear storage room, where they were tied up. The three then stole what police called "an assortment of electronics equipment" before fleeing on foot.

Police said the robbers are all believed to be in their 20s or early 30s. One wore a pink and purple dress, cargo shorts, a blonde wig, sunglasses, a fisherman-style bucket hat and old sneakers.
