Two knife-wielding suspects robbed a 42-year-old man early Saturday of his wallet while he was walking in Roosevelt, Nassau police said.

The victim was standing at Nassau and Whitehouse avenues at 2:25 a.m. when he was approached from behind by two men between the ages of 18 and 20 wearing all black clothing, police said.

The suspects pulled out knives and demanded the victim's wallet, police said. One of the suspects then reached into the victim's pants pocket and removed the wallet, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. The men then fled on foot, heading west on Whitehouse Avenue. The victim was not injured.
