Pothole on Loop Parkway damages vehicles
More than 10 vehicles suffered damage -- mostly blown tires -- when a pothole opened up on the eastbound Loop Parkway north of Point Lookout Monday.
State Police secured the scene with cones and flares and assisted the drivers of at least 10 vehicles, said Trooper Frank Bandiero, Long Island spokesman. No one was hurt in any of the incidents.
