Rape charges in Hofstra case dismissed
Hofstra freshman, female student, 18. Told authorities she was gang raped by five men early Sunday morning in a Hofstra dormitory bathroom, recanting her story Wednesday. Hofstra University officials said Thursday they have suspended her pending an internal judicial process.
Rondell Bedward, 21, of the Bronx, Hofstra University junior. Rape charges against him dismissed.
