The customer who shaved $500 a year from his LIPA bill simply by asking the power authority for a new electric rate has received a second surprise: a $1,159 credit for what he considers two years' overpayments.
But Henry Fox, 84, the North Hills resident who was surprised to learn he had three different rate options, said the credit isn't enough. He's disputing "overcharges" on his LIPA bill...
