Rocky Point biker, 16, killed in crash with minivan
With his father going blind, Daniel Mauricio Cornejo Carranza, 16, took a weekend job at a fast-food restaurant to help his family make ends meet.
After setting out on his bicycle, clad in his work uniform, to begin the early-morning shift Sunday, he was struck and killed by a minivan driven by a woman with a suspended license, police said.
