Sands Beach Club rebuilds after Sandy

The 60-year-old Sands Beach Club, leveled by superstorm Sandy, is almost completely rebuilt. The October superstorm caused $4 million in damage to the beloved beach club in Atlantic Beach, where some spent nearly $20,000 for a summer pool cabana, and where acts such as Tito Puento and Connie Francis performed decades ago. The club's manager says the finishing touches are being done now and that the rebuilding should be done by May. Videojournalist: Alejandra Villa (Sept. 17, 2013)
