A Plainview-Old Bethpage school custodian charged with heroin possession after a bust in a Bethpage parking lot has been suspended, the district said Thursday.

Daniel Pereira, 24, of 68 Kraemer St., Hicksville, was arrested in the King Kullen parking lot on Stewart Avenue, next to the Long Island Rail Road station, about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nassau County police said. He had about 50 packets...
