Schools: LI teachers to develop leadership skills
Nineteen teachers from 10 high-need Long Island school districts are working to improve their leadership skills through a program funded by a $900,000 grant secured by Stony Brook University.
The grant was issued by the state education department and the Wallace Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to strengthen education leadership, arts participation and out-of-school learning.
