For the second consecutive year, Hewlett High School has won the $100,000 grand prize in the Siemens Foundation competition.  Zainab Mahmood, 17, JiaWen Pei, 17, and Priyanka Wadgaonkar, 16, discovered a gene that can help protect  trees from environmental stresses.
