Southern State reopens after fatal crash
A motorcyclist speeding on the Southern State Parkway was killed early Monday as he changed lanes and rear-ended a car, State Police said.
Jason L. Goines, 30, of Jamaica, was traveling at high speed on a 2003 Suzuki in the 3:38 a.m. accident at Corona Avenue in North Valley Stream when his bike hit a 1993 Chevrolet in the right center lane, police said.
