A man who says he is the driver in a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning in Uniondale that left one pedestrian dead and another hospitalized has turned himself in, Nassau County police said.
Detectives said that Jose E. Sorto, 48, of East Meadow, surrendered himself Saturday night to the Third Squad in Williston Park.
