Suspects sought in 7-Eleven robbery in West Hempstead

Nassau County police are looking for two masked men who robbed a West Hempstead 7-Eleven store early Friday.

Police said two men entered the 7-Eleven at 310 Hempstead Ave. at about 12:40 a.m.

One of them went behind the counter and demanded cash from the register.

Two female employees complied, and the two suspects left on foot, heading north on Hempstead Avenue with an unspecified amount of cash, police said.

No injuries were reported.
