A sport-utility vehicle veered off the road and crashed into the front of a Garden City South home on Saturday morning, Nassau police said.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the 9:04 a.m. crash on the 300 block of Kensington Road, police said.

The SUV smashed through a wall, entering a first-floor bedroom. No one was in the two-story residence at the time, police said.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
