Switch problem on Babylon branch fixed, but new glitch in Baldwin
Good news for riders on the Babylon branch of the Long Island Rail Road: a broken switch in Wantagh that sent the Friday morning rush-hour commute into a standstill was repaired.
Bad news for riders: now a broken rail in Baldwin is causing delays, though it is expected to be fixed late Friday morning - and likely will not have any impact on the evening rush.
