Thieves posing as repairmen tie up victims, rob Hewlett home
Two men in utility uniforms posing as repairmen talked their way into a Hewlett home Wednesday, then tied up the homeowners and robbed them, Nassau County police said.
The incident at a home on Henrietta Place was reported at 10:46 a.m., police said. Police said neither of the victims, a man and a woman, were injured.
