Two arrested in shooting death of Wyandanch man

Two men were arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of a Wyandanch man who was gunned down outside his daughter's home Monday, police said early Saturday.

Rudolph Bisnauth, 23, of 95 Main St., Wheatley Heights, was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Jerry Armstrong, 47. Armstrong was found Monday with a gunshot wound to the abdomen in front of a house on Irving Avenue in Wyandanch.

Michael McKenzie, 20, of 26 Parkway Blvd., Wyandanch, was arrested Wednesday and also charged with second-degree murder in this case.

Bisnauth was to be arraigned today in First District Court, Central Islip. No information was released on McKenzie's arraignment.

Police did not release a possible motive for the killing.

Armstrong's wife, Patricia Armstrong, 46, said this past week her husband, who worked as a carpet layer, was "well-liked by everybody."
