Two charged with robbery in Levittown Target

Nassau police have arrested two women they say stole bathing suits at a Levittown Target in March.

Police said one woman worked as a lookout while the other stuffed three bathing suits into her pocketbook. One of the women -- it's not clear which one -- tried to choke a 27-year-old male security guard who tried to keep them from leaving the store, police said.

After an investigation, Second Squad detectives charged Christina E. Pernell, 24, of 415 Albany Ave., Amityville, and Myeshia Reeves, 28, of 150 Brier St., Central Islip with second-degree robbery.
