Two rob Mineola store

A Mineola grocery store was robbed Tuesday afternoon by two men who threatened to shoot a store employee, police said.

The two men, wearing black ski masks and dressed in black hooded sweatshirts, approached the employee at Stop 24 grocery, 124 E. Jericho Tpke. at 3:40 p.m., police said, and forced him to open the register. No weapon was displayed, Nassau police said.

The robbers took an unspecified amount of money, left through the front door and headed toward the rear of the building, police said.
