Westbury man arrested in heroin sale

A Westbury man was arrested on Saturday in connection with a heroin sale in Roosevelt last month, Nassau County police said.

Police said James Tunstall, 38, of 221 Brooklyn Ave., sold heroin for cash to another man on Pennywood Avenue on April 22.

Police arrested Tunstall on Pennywood Avenue on Saturday and charged him with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At his arraignment on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead, Tunstall was ordered held on $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash bail. He is due back in court on Wednesday.
