Widow: Husband's reburial like "robbing someone's grave"
Quick ReadEd Toppin was buried Nov. 7 in a grave that already had a body. The spot in the double-depth grave was reserved for the other man's mother; Toppin was supposed to be buried nearby with his own mother.

Convulsive sobbing and fury came over a Freeport widow when she learned - from a reporter - that her recently buried husband of 44 years had been placed in the wrong plot, exhumed, then reburied - all without her knowledge.
"Oh, my God," Dorothy Toppin wept late Friday night. "Oh, my Jesus."
"I never heard of such a thing," she said later. "That's like robbing someone's grave."
