Widow: Husband's reburial like "robbing someone's grave"

Convulsive sobbing and fury came over a Freeport widow when she learned - from a reporter - that her recently buried husband of 44 years had been placed in the wrong plot, exhumed, then reburied - all without her knowledge.

"Oh, my God," Dorothy Toppin wept late Friday night. "Oh, my Jesus."

"I never heard of such a thing," she said later. "That's like robbing someone's grave."
