Woman accused of defrauding Valley Stream bank
A Valley Stream bank was defrauded of more than $65,000 by a woman who set up a business account using a fake ID, then deposited bad checks and withdrew money before the checks bounced, Nassau police said. The woman, a Queens resident, now faces grand larceny and forgery charges.
