Newtown, Conn. - The nation paused to remember Newtown, Conn. victims this morning on the one-week anniversary of the elementary school massacre.

Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy led a moment of silence at 9:30 a.m. today after a church bell rang 26 times to honor each life lost.

Police say the gunman, identified as Adam Lanza, killed his mother before the school shooting, then turned the gun on himself.
