Northport street renamed for fallen Marine
While having a Northport street renamed for a Marine fallen in Beirut took some doing, it was never an effort, according to the man credited with making it happen.
"It wasn't even a request," said Police Chief Ric Bruckenthal, who found Huntington Town officials more than eager to arrange the renaming. "It was more like, 'Why didn't we think of this ourselves.'"
