Opera singer and job counselor Theresa Murphy, 82, dies
It's no stretch to say that Theresa Murphy of Babylon once had the voice of an angel. As a young opera star in the 1940s and '50s, Murphy sang the part in a Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall, among other major roles.
She died July 27 of complications of colon cancer. She was 82.
