Patient AirLift Services marks 5000th flight milestone

Patient AirLift Services, a Farmingdale nonprofit, arranged its 5,000th charity flight, this time transporting Massapequa resident Christopher Kowalewski who had had surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital to MacArthur Airport, where he was reunited with his wife and their five children. His wife Lisa had garnered support for this effort through "Massapequa Mommas Market Facebook page, which reached out to the nonprofit. (Credit: Ed Betz)
