Nassau GOP announces candidates for Nov. elections

Nassau County's Republican party has released the names of candidates expected to run for positions in the county's three towns in November.

In North Hempstead, the Republicans named accountant Lee Tu, 34, to challenge Supervisor Jon Kaiman, the Democratic incumbent. An Albertson resident since the early 1990s, Tu ran unsuccessfully in 2007 for the seat held by county Legis. Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn)....
