Nassau to hold 'heroin summit' on drug's impact
Nassau County will hold a "heroin summit" July 28 to explore the extent of the drug's impact in the county and to publicize the danger, particularly to youngsters.
Nassau County Police Commissioner Lawrence Mulvey held his own summit in May 2008 with school supervisors to alert them to what he saw as a growing problem with heroin.
