Rep. Tim Bishop (D-Southampton) outspent his Republican rival, Randy Altschuler, by a 3-1 margin in the latest campaign finance reporting period.

Each candidate on Friday released campaign finance reports covering the first 17 days of October. Altschuler out-raised Bishop, $113,033 to $91,851, but was outspent by the incumbent, $468,298 to $138,234.
