AG: Charities raise $400M for Sandy relief
Eighty-eight charities have raised about $400 million for superstorm Sandy relief, state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman reported Thursday.
Five nonprofit organizations have raised the bulk of the funds, led by the American Red Cross with $188 million, the attorney general said.
