Bloomberg and Quinn clash on NYPD inspector-general bill

With the City Council poised to approve a measure to impose a new inspector-general office on the NYPD, Mayor Michael Bloomberg slammed it, saying: "Make no mistake about it: This bill jeopardizes that progress and will put the lives of New Yorkers and our police officers at risk."
