Cuomo puts rosy spin on wording of casino referendum

The referendum is about whether New Yorkers want to approve amending the state constitution to allow up to seven new, non-Indian-run casinos.

But the wording of the proposition on the ballot this fall, authorized by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and state legislators, promises lower taxes, more jobs and more money for schools.
