Former Suozzi adviser hired in Nassau
Kim Devlin, former Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi’s main campaign strategist who has been advising Democratic legislators since January, has finally gotten a contract to pay for her work.
The Nassau Rules Committee on Monday unanimously approved a $65,000 consulting contract for Devlin, under her legal name of Kimberly Hall, to assist the Democratic delegation.
The contract summary presented to lawmakers said she will advise on “issues relating to governmental matters, including but not limited to community relations, constituent and press matters.” The term runs from Jan. 1, 2012 through December 31, with a pay rate of $60 an hour, not to exceed a total $65,000.
Devlin could not be reached for comment.
