Funding battle for B'khaven highway post on an even grade
In Brookhaven’s battle for highway superintendent, Assemb. Dan Losquadro (R-Shoreham) and maverick GOP town board member Kathleen Walsh, who is running on the Democratic line, are neck and neck in fundraising.
So far, Losquadro has a slight edge, raising $78,455 to Walsh's $76,339, according to their mid-January and 32 day pre-election campaign finance reports.
