Just a bit of catch-up: Nearly four weeks back, when House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told colleagues she'd stay on in her leadership post, she did so in an unusual way -- by turning to Rep. Steve Israel (D-Huntington) and saying if he would stay on as chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, she'd also stick around.
