Minimum-wage vote splits L.I. delegation along party lines

 By  a vote of 102-44, the state Assembly passed a bill Tuesday to raise New York’s minimum wage from $7.25  to $9 per hour and index future increases to inflation.

Most voted along party lines. One Niagara County Republican voted yes, and just three Democrats voted no -- one from the Mohawk Valley and two from the Buffalo area.
